I am an author.
What does that mean exactly?
To write is to take the world, part imagined, part lived, to fill it with color and to present what has been already viewed in your mind to your readers. Writing is not a profession that is chosen in an ordinary fashion. It is something that is a part of you. Characters approach, fully formed, sometimes shy at first, needing to be heard. This is the magic of the pen… or the keys, as the case may be.
I’m also a writing consultant and editor.
What does that mean?
It means I help others bring their characters to the world on the best stage possible. Sometimes that means holding the curtain open a bit wider for them. Sometimes that means helping their characters put on the best costumes and sometimes that means rearranging the scenes of the play. No matter what, it means helping others shine through their work. For over eight years, I have been helping other authors with their writing. I’ve also taught a writing course to college students in the UNESCO literature city of Dublin, Ireland. Now all of that editing experience is available to you through Extra Ink Edits. My speciality is content editing, my turnaround time is quick and everyone who’s worked with me has valued what I could bring to their writing. After working with me, clients have been placed with agents and publishers. I’d be honored to read your writing!
I also write at my blog, Past is Prologue. If you’d like to be in touch, please follow me on Twitter, on Facebook, on Pinterest, or Email me at [email protected] or at [email protected] for all editing inquiries. You can also visit Extra Ink Edits. I’d be delighted to hear from you!
Thank you for your interest in me and my friends dressed in pigment!
My best to you all,
